Auxiliary Finishing

Auxiliary Finishing products for the waterproof process

AC-0120

This product can be used to achieve “pull-up” effects on water-repellent skins without impairing the skin’s water resistance. It does not have organic solvents. In some cases it can even improve said resistance to water when using it.

AC-0153

AC-0153 improves the fastness of non-waterproofed leather, while preserving at the same time its softness and natural character, giving it a permanent wet greasy feel. On the flesh side there is only a very slight migration. A clear pull-up effect (greasy and aged appearance) of medium grade is obtained. Easy finishing of the leathers treated with this oil. In hydrophobic leathers treated with AC-0153, a high permeability to water vapor is obtained and these leathers can be pumped or polished without this affecting their waterproofing.

The results of the Maeser test or the Bally penetrometers usually remain unchanged or even improve with the application of the product. It provides a permanent wet greasy touch.

AC-0180

AC-0180 is a slightly cloudy, yellowish, viscous liquid and does not mix with water. AC-0180 is soluble in various organic solvents, and can be easily mixed with pull-up waxes, e.g. our wax CW-0468.

With AC-0180 you can get finished leathers with a greasy touch and a strong darkening effect. The product also gives a surface with water repellency.

The product is applied directly to roll-coating, or in combination with pull-up waxes or other oils.

AX-0215

Special product in organic solution based on modified fluorocarbon resins. AX-0215 provides hydro and oil repellency properties to the substrate on which it is applied, suitably treated.

CW-0473

Wax CW-0473 is a product with water-repellent properties that notably improves the surface protection of aniline leathers, finished leathers, as well as nubuck and suede leathers. Applied on the leather, it gives a very persistent soft and pleasant touch. The wax CW-0473 is applied with a spray gun, diluted in water at the rate of one part of wax and two or three parts of water. It can also be added to aqueous finishes to improve their touch and water repellency.
