Tanqin BDV

Description:
Product for leather retanning.

Chemical nature:
Derivative product of the phenol-sulphonic acid condensation.

Characteristical features:
Appearance: powder. Nature: anionic. Solids content: 95±1 PH Value (1:10): 6,5±1 Colour: white.

Properties:
Product with very low astringency, which permits to give sponginess and softness. Its features, in the moment it enters in contact with the leather, are giving a soft touch and a very good hand. For split leather it helps to hide the vein on the surface of the leather.

Storage capacity:
The product can be stored en its well closed container in a well ventilated place at temperatures between +5º and +35ºC. In its sealed container it lasts 6 months.

Application:
This product is recommended to be used first of all for retanning, although it can also be used during the fatliquoring. In any case, it is recommended for standard procedures to add between 2 and 6% of the shaved weight.

Safety:
When handling this product the instructions set out in the safety data leaflet must be observed. The relevant safety and precautionary measures for hygiene in the workplace must also be followed when working with chemical products.
