Tanqin SS

Description:
Product for leather retanning.

Chemical nature:
Retanning agent.

Characteristical features:
Condensation of a phenol sulphonic acid. Appearance: powder. Nature: anionic. Solids content: 93%±1 PH Value (1:10): 4,0±0,5 Colour: white.

Properties:
Tanqin SS gives a considerable filling to the leather, as well as sufficient softness. It allows to produce milled items and a very uniform and strong grain. The leathers retanned with this product show a good attitude for buffing. With its self-tanning properties, it also can be used to produce wet-white or chrome-free items.

Storage capacity:
The product can be stored en its well closed container in a well ventilated place at temperatures between +5º and +35ºC. In its sealed container it lasts 6 months.

Application:
In addition to its application for retanning, it can also be used after the fatliquoring and before its fixation (from 2 to 4%), giving big softness and good properties for milling and filling. In case of helping the grain solidity, it can be used to complete the rechroming with a certain quantity of this product (1 to 2%).

Safety:
When handling this product the instructions set out in the safety data leaflet must be observed. The relevant safety and precautionary measures for hygiene in the workplace must also be followed when working with chemical products.
