Retanning filler
Excellent filling effect, especially in empty parts of the skin. It improves grain firmness and fiber structure compactness. The tone of the dyeing does not vary, it does not considerably reduce the dyeing intensity.

Application
If we start with wet blue, it is advisable to add Tanqin LFO in the main retanning (3%-4%), while if we work with it on wet white leathers, the ideal is to apply it twice during retanning after neutralizing (3% and 3% approx.). In the case of leather intended for uppers for footwear, it can be added all at once and in amounts ranging between 3% and 6% and, lastly, in goat leather, for example, the addition will be made in the retanning that is carried out after neutralization and in the same quantities mentioned above, between 3% and 6%. Interesting use of the Tanqin LFO during the rewetting process of dyed leathers with intermediate drying.
Properties on wet blue retanning
Excellent filling capacity. It presents a full touch and a homogeneous grain after fulling. It does not present bad tingibility, obtaining intense and bright tones. Very good response to grinding of nubucks and suedes in general.
Properties on full grain leathers
Since the Tanqin LFO is capable of effectively penetrating through the leather and depositing mainly in the loosest and most empty areas of the leather, we find different characteristics depending on the moment the product is added during the process. During retanning, it will give us fullness and a soft grain. After fatliquoring, firmness and smooth grain. On waterproofed leathers, its addition (1%-2%) is recommended during neutralization, allowing high requirements in the Maeser Test.
Influence on the dye
Whether it is a direct dyeing process or one with intermediate drying, the product does not affect the change in tone, does not whiten the leather and does not considerably reduce its intensity. It is recommended to use 2%-4% on the dry weight during the rewetting of the leather, obtaining in the double dyeing a full, firm leather and avoiding empty flanks after the second dyeing process.
