Description:
Auxiliary product for leather finishing.

Chemical nature:
RU-1403 is an aliphatic polyurethane top.

Characteristical features:
Polyurethane dispersion in an aqueous environment. Appearance: Transparent liquid. Colour: Yellowish. Dry material: 30% approx. Specific weight at 25ºC: 0,976 g/cm3 Viscosity: 100 cp 1/60 approx. Flammability: 34ºC Film hardness: Medium. Glowing degree: Shiny. COV content: 69,85%

Properties:
RU-1403 offers a firm and flexible layer. It is especially suitable for fixations which require a high solidity against alcohol and dry or wet rubbing. Good light fastness and good resistance against UV rays.

Storage capacity:
The product can be stored in its well closed container in a well ventilated place at temperatures between +5º and +35ºC, both for transport and storage. In its sealed container it lasts 12 months.

Application:
Once cross-linked, it only lasts in its container 24 hours. The optimal experiments or test are obtained after between 24 and 48 hours after application.

Safety:
When handling this product the instructions set out in the safety data leaflet must be observed. The relevant safety and precautionary measures for hygiene in the workplace must also be followed when working with chemical products.
